PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saved and easy-to-handle rotary table device with extremely excellent practicality. SOLUTION: In this rotary table device, a table 1 to which a workpiece is mounted, a drive mechanism 2 for rotary-driving the table 1, and a transmission mechanism 3 for transmitting a rotary driving force of the drive mechanism 2 to the table 1 are provided at a frame body 7. The transmission mechanism 3 comprises a bevel gear 4 installed on the rear face of the table 1, ad a pinion 6 meshed with the bevel gear 4 installed at a rotary shaft 5 of the drive mechanism 2. The rotary shaft 5 of the drive mechanism 2 is installed in an offset state inclined to contact reference faces 18, 19 of the frame body 7 abutting on an installation face 9 on which the frame body 7 is installed.
