<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cooling device contributing to reduce global warming by lowering the temperature of exhaust gas in discharging it without lowering the purification temperature of the exhaust gas, and capable of preventing extra consumption. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas cooling device is provided with: an exhaust gas running/cooling part having a plurality of exhaust gas running tubes 4, and a passage space 3 of cooling water arranged around the running passages; a circulation passage 5 having a pump 6 circulating the cooling water to the passage space; and a cooling water tank 7 supplying the cooling water to the circulation passage; and is structured such that a high-temperature exhaust gas after being purified by a catalyst is cooled by the circulating cooling water and thereafter emitted to the atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
