PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material for brazing which reduces thinning of a substrate due to brazing, has a superior formability, brings less manufacturing cost and exhibits desired corrosion resistance and fluidity, and a brazed article using it. SOLUTION: The composite material for brazing is composed of a clad material comprising at least two or more kinds of metals selected from Ni layer 1, Ti layer 3, Fe-Ni alloy layer 4 other than Al or Al alloy layer 2.
