PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To successively calculate a statistical quantity for retrieving a content desired to be added to a play list on the basis of determination whether or not the content can be added to the play list and to automatically prepare a play list a user really desires and quickly on the basis of the statistical quantity. SOLUTION: The content presentation device includes: a candidate content retrieval statistical quantity calculation part 5 for calculating a candidate content retrieval statistical quantity; a candidate content retrieval part 6 for retrieving a candidate content by using the candidate content retrieval statistical quantity; a candidate content display part 7a for displaying the candidate content; a part 7b for selecting contents to be deleted for selecting an undesired content; and a candidate content retrieval statistical quantity calculation part 5 for calculating the desired content retrieval statistical quantity by using the candidate content retrieval statistical quantity, the undesired content, and a temporarily desired content with an arbitrary content which is not selected as the undesired content as the temporarily desired content.
