PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adhere a dust-proof glass substrate to the external surface of a liquid crystal panel in a short time with high positioning accuracy. SOLUTION: A plurality of TFT substrates 10 that can be cut into a chip shape are formed on a large substrate 110; and a counter substrate 20 in a chip shape is bonded to each TFT substrate 10. First, (b) a large dust-proof glass substrate 300 is adhered to approximately an entire external surface of the large substrate 110; then, (c) a small dust-proof glass substrate 31 is adhered to the external surface of the counter substrate 20; and (d) the large substrate 110 and the large dust-proof glass substrate 300 are cut into the TFT substrate 10 units to fabricate a plurality of liquid crystal panels 120.
