PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector etc. capable of deciding a use country without using a GPS to perform processing corresponding to the use country.

SOLUTION: The projector 100 is constituted by comprising a storage part 120 which stores decision data 122 including data indicating use voltage of a power supply 110 by every country, a decision part 150 which decides an applicable country on the basis of voltage supplied to the power supply 110 and the decision data 122 and a processing part 160 which performs the processing corresponding to the applicable country.
