PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel floor slab reinforcing structure which can relax concentration of stress at an upper corner portion around a U rib observation hole, and prevents a new crack from occurring at a stiffener installation location and the periphery of the same after installation of a stiffener. SOLUTION: According to the steel floor slab reinforcing structure, stop holes 16 are formed in the deck plate 11 at both ends of a crack occurring along a welding portion of the U rib 12b, so as to be astride a location where the U rib 12b is present and a location where the U rib is not present, and the observation hole 17 is formed immediately below each stop hole 16 formed in the U rib 12b, followed by setting the stiffener 18 on an upper surface of the deck plate 11, for covering the crack and the stop holes 16. Then a notch Z is formed in the U rib 12b at a location of the observation hole 17 so as to communicate with the observation hole 17 at least in a direction in which the U rib 12b extends.
