PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporter having superior fitting property and scarcely causing deviation. SOLUTION: This retainer 10 consists of a tubular body with opened both ends. The retainer 10 is used for retaining a sheet-shaped article to be stuck to a body. The retainer 10 has a first area extending in the longitudinal direction of the tubular body at the central area in the longitudinal direction of the tubular body. The retainer 10 has also a second area positioned toward an opening end of the first area and having a lower extensibility in the longitudinal direction of the tubular body than that of the first area. In an area of the first area positioned in an approximately half face side of the tubular body, the longitudinal extensibility is higher than the circumferential extensibility and preferably, the area has an approximately dome-shaped protrusion formed into an outward protruded dome shape by a three-dimensional full-fashioned knitting.
