摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent stoppage of an engine even if rapid racing operation is caused just after starting of the engine, by decreasing the initial value at the rate of attenuation of the initial value at the period just after starting of the engine, and controlling the engine operation on the basis of the air-fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION:After the engine operation is judged to be just after starting, fuel injection period gammaSTA at the time of starting is calculated on the basis of the outputs of a sensor 13 for detecting the temperature of intake air, an air- flow meter 12, a water-temperature sensor, etc. Then, fuel injection period is calculated by picking up the rate of attenuation of the initial value determined for engine operation other than high-speed operation of an engine and that determined for high-speed operation of the engine, and a fuel injection valve is controlled on the basis of the fuel injection period tau. By employing such an arrangement, it is enabled to prevent stoppage of an engine even if rapid racing operation (rapid increasing of the engine speed) is caused just after starting of the engine.
