PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain batch-switching to cooling operation or heating operation. SOLUTION: A multiple air conditioning system 1 for a building has a two-way air conditioning system 7 in which a plurality of indoor units 25 are connected to an outdoor unit 15 through inter-unit piping and allowed to carry out cooling operation or heating operation simultaneously, and a three-way air conditioning system 8 in which a plurality of indoor units 26 are connected to an outdoor unit 16 through inter-unit piping and allowed to carry out cooling operation and heating operation in mixture. A control computer 2 is connected in communication with the two-way and three-way air conditioning systems 7, 8 through a main communication line 3, and the control computer 2 transmits a switching instruction signal for instructing switching of air-conditioning operation to cooling operation or heating operation, to the two-way and three-way air conditioning system 7, 8 simultaneously through the main communication line 3.
