摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the formation of impurities caused by the decomposition of a substrate in the process of producing a radioactive fluorine-labeled compound. SOLUTION: The method of producing potassium [<SP>18</SP>F] fluoride or quaternary ammonium [<SP>18</SP>F] fluoride contains a process for removing cationic impurities by bringing<SP>18</SP>O-concentrated water containing [<SP>18</SP>F] fluoride ion into contact with a strongly acidic cation exchange resin, a process of bringing the<SP>18</SP>O-concentrated water into contact with a weakly basic anion exchange resin where the weakly basic anion exchange resin adsorbs the [<SP>18</SP>F] fluoride ion, and a process for eluting the [<SP>18</SP>F] fluoride ion adsorbed by the weakly basic anion exchange resin by using an aqueous solution of a potassium salt (excluding potassium carbonate and potassium hydrogencarbonate) or a solution of a quaternary ammonium salt (excluding hydrogencarbonate). The method of producing a radioactive fluorine-labeled organic compound contains a process for labeling an organic compound by using the potassium [<SP>18</SP>F] fluoride or the quaternary ammonium [<SP>18</SP>F] fluoride obtained by the production method.
