ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the winding performance of a coil constituted by winding a coil strand around tapered teeth, in a rotating electric machine. SOLUTION: The coil 19 is constituted by winding the coil strand 21 in a plurality of stages around the tapered teeth 13 in a direction orthogonal to faces of the teeth 13. The face of the external peripheral side of a slot which winds the coil 19 is perpendicular with respect to the center line 27 of the tooth radial direction. An angleθis therefore formed between the external peripheral side face of the coil 19 and the internal peripheral side face 11a of a back yoke 11, and a gap is formed between the external peripheral side face of the coil 19 and the surface of a first insulator 23 attached to the internal peripheral side face 11a of the back yoke 11. Second insulators 25a to 25e are filled into the gap when winding the coil 19, and the winding collapse of the coil 19 is prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
