PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine system including a regenerator relaxing thermal stress of the regenerator at start and a method for operating the same. SOLUTION: The gas turbine plant system provided with a compressor compressing air to form compressed air, a regenerator heating the compressed air by gas turbine exhaust gas, a combustor mixing and burning fuel and heated air from the regenerator to form high temperature gas, and a turbine providing power by high temperature gas. The system is provided with a system merging fluid relaxing temperature change of gas turbine exhaust gas to the gas turbine exhaust gas in an upstream of the regenerator.
