<p>The method for holding a weft thread incorporated in an air weaving machine provided with a weaving reed (8), comprises diverting the weft thread by a nozzle (3) with a nozzle opening in a direction transverse to a weft-insertion direction (9) and blowing in a reception opening of a capture channel (5), holding the weft thread in the capture channel, adapting the position of the nozzle and the capture channel within the width of the weaving reed on the desired product width and arranging the nozzle opening of the nozzle and the capture channel on the abutment side of the weaving reed. The method for holding a weft thread incorporated in an air weaving machine provided with a weaving reed (8), comprises diverting the weft thread by a nozzle (3) with a nozzle opening in a direction transverse to a weft-insertion direction (9) and blowing in a reception opening of a capture channel (5), holding the weft thread in the capture channel, adapting the position of the nozzle and the capture channel within the width of the weaving reed on the desired product width and arranging the nozzle opening of the nozzle and the capture channel on the abutment side of the weaving reed. The nozzle comprises a nozzle tube, which is partially arranged in the region of a lower blade nib. The weft thread introduced in the capture channel is blown by a further nozzle from the reception opening. The weft thread is led back from the capture channel to a weft channel provided in the weaving reed. Independent claims are included for: (1) a stretching device for holding a weft thread incorporated in an air weaving machine provided with a weaving reed; and (2) air weaving machine mounted for holding a weft thread.</p> |
