A terminal for processing foreign currency remittance and a program recording medium thereof are provided to enable a customer to process foreign currency remittance conveniently without inputting foreign currency remittance information by reading the foreign currency remittance information from a dedicated IC card storing the foreign currency remittance information of the customer with an IC card reader. A screen output part(215) outputs a financial transaction selection menu. An information processor(265) checks whether a customer IC card stores foreign currency remittance information including a foreign currency remittance class, a foreign currency code, remittance amount, fee payer information, a local/country code, a bank number/name, a sender bank address/name, receiver information, a receiver account number, a receiver and sender address/phone number/name, and/or a memo when a foreign currency remittance menu is selected, and automatically inputs the foreign currency remittance information read from the IC card to the remittance interface. A message generator(270) generates a foreign currency remittance request message by using the information inputted to the interface. A communicator(230) transmits the message to a financial server. |
