Method of limiting the release of organic matter into the environment while forming foundations by using a concrete base on the furnace slag ground to 2500-5000 Blaine, preferably 3500-4500 Blaine (cm<2>/g). An Independent claim is included for a concrete composition for foundations comprising a mixture of a finely ground furnace slag, activator and a deflocculant and/or anti-leaching agent.
