A dry cleaning apparatus and a method thereof are provided to apply efficient force for flowing a cumulated cleaning medium by circulation air, and increase a number of collision vibration between the cleaning medium and a cleaning target object by flowing plural cleaning media. A circulation air generating unit(6) generates high speed air within a cleaning tank(5) so as to flow up flexible flaked-shaped cleaning medium present within the cleaning tank. A cleaning medium accelerating unit(7) accelerates the cleaning medium flowing within the cleaning tank so that the cleaning medium collides with a cleaning target object, and separates particles attached to the cleaning target object. A cleaning medium recycle unit(8) sucks the particles separated from the cleaning target object and recycles the cleaning medium.
