An antenna apparatus using an idle metal body component in an electronic device is provided to secure a mounting space inside the electronic device and make the electronic device lighter and smaller. An antenna apparatus in an electronic device includes an idle metal body component(210) and antenna elements(211,212). The idle metal body component is mounted inside the electronic device. One ends of the antenna elements are electrically connected to any one spot of the idle metal body component and the other ends thereof are electrically connected to the ground. The antenna apparatus has a resonant frequency corresponding to a specific frequency band by the coupling of the idle metal body component and the antenna elements.
