<p>A car-PC system is provided to realize excellent extensibility and facilitate stable installation by using an improved motherboard and monitor, and a control unit for the car PC system. A motherboard(100) is equipped with a CPU slot, a main memory slot, a BIOS(Basic Input/Output System) ROM, a control chipset and an I/O(Input/Output) circuit. An extension card supporting PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(200) is vertically fixed on the motherboard and is equipped with at least one extension card slot(210,220) for mounting an extension card(300) in parallel with the motherboard. The extension card supporting PCB is fixed to the motherboard by using a mechanical fixing tool or the fixing tool including electric connection by the I/O circuit. The extension card slot is mounted on the motherboard in parallel to keep an extension card insertion slot in parallel with the motherboard. A monitor includes an LCD panel and a backlight unit, and does not include an LCD driving unit, and is fixed in a car by a motor-driven folding unit.</p> |
