摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out efficient operation by an appropriate coolant amount in response to operation conditions during heating. SOLUTION: The air conditioner 1 has a gas-liquid separator 18 receiving a liquid coolant flowing into an outdoor unit 3 during heating operation. A gas coolant separated by the gas-liquid separator 18 is bypassed around an outdoor heat exchanger 24, and sucked into a compressor 11. The liquid coolant separated by the gas-liquid separator 18 flows into a receiver tank 22, and then it flows into the outdoor heat exchanger 24. When a bypass circuit 20 is opened during heating operation, dryness of the coolant flowing into the outdoor heat exchanger 20 becomes small, and a circulation amount of the coolant is reduced. When the bypass circuit 20 is closed during heating operation, the dryness of the coolant flowing into the outdoor heat exchanger 24 becomes large, and the circulation amount of the coolant is increased.
