PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new entry blocking device which can be installed between a base-isolated structure and another structure, and which can be installed even if an interval between them is short. SOLUTION: This entry blocking device comprises: a blocking plate 5 for blocking the entry of a person; a slide rail 4 in which a guide groove 4a is formed, and which is horizontally fixed to another structure 3; a slider 6 which slides while being guided by the guide groove 4a of the slide rail 4; a joint 7 for connecting the slider 6 and one side portion 5a of the blocking plate 5 together; and a hinge 8, an oscillating joint 9 and an oscillating pin 10 for oscillatably connecting the other side portion 5 of the blocking plate 5 and the base-isolated structure 2 together. The displacement of an interval between the base-isolated structure 2 and another structure 3, which is caused by the occurrence of earthquakes, is absorbed by the sliding of the slider 6, and the oscillation of the hinge 8, the oscillating joint 9 and the oscillating pin 10.
