PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a wire for operating a clutch capable of preventing wires from being mutually twined irrespective of use of two wires including the wire for releasing the clutch and the wire for returning the clutch to achieve smooth operation. SOLUTION: This wire for operating the clutch is constituted by two wires including the wire 40 for releasing and the wire for returning. Two independent insertion holes 60, 61 are formed on a peripheral face of a shaft of a winding body, and an outer cable provided with two independent insertion parts is extended in the direction of length of the shaft in the shaft. Two wires cross the direction of length of the shaft orthogonally from their terminals, are guided into mutually opposing directions, are led into the shaft after passing through two respective insertion holes 60, 61, and are extended after passing through two respective insertion parts of the outer cable 7 in the shaft 20.
