[PROBLEMS] To provide a magnetic detector in which current consumption can be reduced more than before. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Fixed resistance elements (31, 32) constitutes a resistance element constituting a second series circuit (34) connected in parallel to both of a first series circuit (26) having a first magnetoresistive element (23) and a third series circuit (30) having a second magnetoresistive element (27). The element resistance of the fixed resistance elements (31, 32) is set larger than that of each resistance element (23, 24, 27, 28) constituting a sensor portion (21). This reduces the current consumption.
