<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor drum for an image forming apparatus using no external light source based on field emission. <P>SOLUTION: The photoreceptor drum possesses: a cylindrical internal roller 11 having a plurality of cathode units on the outside surface, and formed of a cathode substrate 81; a hollow and cylindrical external roller 12 having a larger inside diameter than the outside diameter of the internal roller 11, including the internal roller 11 inside, having a plurality of anode units on the inner surface and formed of an anode substrate 71; and a hollow and cylindrical photoelectric conversion layer 13 having a larger inside diameter than the outside diameter of the external roller 12 and fit to the external roller 12. An electron beam 10 radiated from the cathode unit is cast to the corresponding anode unit so as to generate light. The light generated in the anode unit is converted into static electricity on the photoelectric conversion layer 13, and then the static electricity on the photoelectric conversion layer 13 attracts toner 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
