PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boot which ensures seal property over the whole circumference of a fitting surface when attached, and is radially extended while avoiding concentration of stress only to one point. SOLUTION: The boot 35, 45 attached to a joint 3, 4 mounted on an intermediate shaft 2 of a drive shaft 1 to close openings are constituted as follows. The boot 35, 45 are formed into a flexible conical shapes. Minor diameter end parts 35b, 45b fitted to the outer circumferences of the intermediate shaft 2, and major diameter end parts 35c, 45c fitted to the outer circumferences of opening ends of the joints 3, 4 include springs 36 and 37 and 46 and 47 integrally over the whole circumferences. The springs 36 and 37 and 46 and 47 are provided to work elastic force toward the center in a radially extended state of the minor diameter end parts 35b, 45b and the major diameter end parts 35c, 45c.
