<p>An image forming device includes: a developer containing casing; a developer carrying body; a carrying electrode; and a developer oscillating unit. The developer containing casing is a box-shaped member in which developer is contained. The developer carrying body has a developer carrying plane which is arranged in the developer containing casing. A plurality of carrying electrodes are arranged along the developer carrying plane. The carrying electrodes are so configured as to carry the developer in a predetermined developer carrying direction on the developer carrying plane when a progressive wave-shaped voltage is applied. The developer oscillating unit is so configured as to oscillate the developer before being carried on the developer carrying plane.</p>
