A ROOT PATH COMPUTATION METHOD IN SHORTEST PATH BRIDGE

A root path computation method in shortest path bridge, comprises: determining the corresponding root path based on the minimax value of bridge ID in plural equivalent paths in the case of there being plural equivalent paths which have equal total path cost to the root bridge. Said method can generate symmetrical paths for different root bridges under the multiple spanning tree circumstance of shortest path bridge.
