<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively evaluate a local corrosion developing process in high-temperature water, even when an electric circuit like technique is used. <P>SOLUTION: This evaluation apparatus of the local corrosion developing process is equipped with an input part 13, which expresses local corrosion reaction by an electric circuit, constituted so that the leading edge part of a crack is set to a metal eluting anode, the outer surface of the crack is set to a first cathode, in which the reduction of oxygen participates and the inside wall surface of the crack is set to a second cathode, in which the reduction of hydrogen ions participates in a corrosion route and inputs the pH value of a crack internal solution measured by using a predetermined measuring means, when eluted metal ions and hydrogen ions formed by hydrolytic reaction are related to each, with respect to the inner and outer solution resistances of the crack part; and an arithmetic part 14 for calculating the crack developing speed expressed by using the concentration of metal ions and the concentration of hydrogen ions for calculating the current passing through the electric circuit, on the basis of the pH value inputted via the input part 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
