<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a transmission that secures traveling which is close to the traveling at a normal time as much as possible, by widening gear ratio that can be set if a failure occurs in the control of discharge volume of a pump motor. <P>SOLUTION: This controller is provided with variable capacity type fluid pressure pump motors, installed for each power transmission route so as to change a torque transmitted via each power transmission route according to the discharge volume and making them communicate so as to be capable of exchanging pressurized fluids with each other, and a gear ratio setting means that sets the gear ratio by setting the discharge volume of the pump motors to either one of maximum, minimum, and intermediate volume. The pump motor is configured to increase the discharge volume if a failure occurs in the mechanism of controlling the discharge volume and, if the failure occurs, to make larger than on the normal time a difference between the gear ratio of a transmission mechanism that transmits a torque by the one power transmission route and that of the transmission mechanism that transmits a torque by the other power transmission route. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
