A resistance welding device (1) comprises a first welding electrode (2) and a second welding electrode (3) arranged so that the first electrode is placed on a first welding site (6) of a first component (8) with a second component (10) formed as a hollow profile and the second electrode is placed on a second welding site (11) of a second component with a third component (13). The three components are partially enclosed by the welding electrodes. An independent claim is also included for resistance welding using the above device.
