PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic torque transmission device without generating large vibration, by advancing or retreating in the axial direction, by preventing a driven shaft from naturally returning to a state of transmitting rotational torque, by surely reducing transmission torque to the driven shaft from a driving shaft, even if the device is brought into a so-called synchronism loss state when the rotation of the driven shaft cannot follow the rotation of the driving shaft. SOLUTION: This magnetic torque transmission device suppresses the transmission of the rotational torque to a driven disk 130 from a driving disk 160 by expanding a void by magnetic resiliency generated when the driven disk 130 cannot follow the rotation of the driving disk 160 in an overload. The driven disk 130 has latch mechanisms 190 and 116 so as not to be joined again to the driving disk 160 by a magnetic attraction force. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
