PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and inexpensive cap for moxa head acupuncture which makes a needle unflexable, and radiation heat easily conductable. SOLUTION: The cap for the moxa head acupuncture is constituted of a cylindrical portion 2 with which the head portion of the needle is covered and a receiving portion 3 (a bottom portion 3a and an outer cylindrical portion 3b) extending from the lower end portion to the outer peripheral side of the cylindrical portion 2 and mounting a moxa. The cylindrical portion 2 and the receiving portion 3 is formed in a coil spring shape a series of metal wire (a stainless steel wire). Thereby, both weight and cost are reduced and also the cap can be disposed and becomes easily combustible because an air contacting surface becomes large. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
