PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for analysis with high analytical accuracy in a method for analyzing a base sequence in a specific position in a target nucleic acid. SOLUTION: A primer for analyzing the base sequence having a base sequence complementary to the base sequence adjacent to the 3'-side of the base sequence in the specific position in the target nucleic acid and a tag sequence which is a base sequence without binding to the natural type nucleic acid is used.
