A thermoplastic resin composition, and a plastic molded product prepared from the composition are provided to lower light permeability and to improve impact resistance. A thermoplastic resin composition comprises 90-99.9 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin; 0.1-10 parts by weight of a plate inorganic material having a diameter of 1-100 micrometers and a length/thickness ratio of 10 or more, wherein the plate inorganic material comprises a base coated with at least one coating material selected from the group consisting of titanium dioxide, zinc sulfide, zinc oxide, aluminum hydroxide, calcium carbonate and barium sulfate. The base is at least one selected from the group consisting of mica, talc, kaolin, wollastonite, whisk and clay.
