PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color conversion method capable of reducing the ariation of color conversion speed and accelerating the color conversion speed. SOLUTION: The color conversion method includes: a step 100 of selecting a pixel represented by a first color specification system as a target pixel along with a fixed direction; a conversion step of converting a pixel value of the selected target pixel into a pixel value represented by a second color specification system; a step S116 of disposing the converted pixel value in an array region wherein data are managed by addresses thereof; and a step S120 of holding the pixel value of the target pixel. The conversion step includes: a step S106 of determining whether the selected pixel value is equal with a preceding selected pixel value or not; a step S110 of designating, using an address of the preceding selected and disposed pixel value of the second color specification system, a pixel value represented by the second color specification system corresponding to an inputted pixel value in a case where it is determined that the pixel values are equal; and a step S112 of acquiring a pixel value using a lookup table and polygon interpolation in a case where it is determined that the pixel values are not equal.
