<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device and a control circuit which detect fluctuations of current supplied to a light source and can adjust the current supplied to the light source based on the detected content, and light the light source efficiently for the power supplied. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device includes a light source to emit light when supplied with electric current and a control circuit to supply an input current as a supply current to emit light for the light source. The control circuit detects the voltage showing a current value supplied to the light source and identifies its peak value, and when the peak value is larger than a prescribed voltage value, shortens the supply time of the input current and, when the peak value is smaller than the prescribed voltage value, prolongs the supply time of the input current to supply the supply current to the light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
