<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a streaming potentiometer capable of reducing a noise or a drift to a streaming potential signal generated between electrodes by adjusting a flow velocity state inside a sensor head (especially between the electrodes). <P>SOLUTION: In an insulating and corrosion-resistant straight pipe 6 wherein water to be treated flows, a core body 7 made of a similar material is arranged at a fixed interval with the straight pipe 6 inner surface. This streaming potentiometer wherein at least two electrodes 9 are arranged near both ends of the core body 7, in contact with the water to be treated flowing in the straight pipe 6, equipped with a measuring part 13 for measuring a potential difference generated in the water to be treated between each electrode 9, 9, has characteristics wherein the water to be treated flowing in the fixed interval between the straight pipe 6 inner surface and the core body 7 flows in a laminar state with changing flow velocity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
