LIQUID DISCHARGE DEVICE AND LIQUID DISCHARGE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of streaks between dot rows as variations between discharge parts in a line system while eliminating variations in dot arrays. SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device allows maximum N liquid droplets to be landed in one pixel region so as to form a dot corresponding to the pixel region. The discharge direction of a liquid droplet discharged from a liquid discharge part is set so that a landing target position of a liquid droplet in an arrangement direction of nozzles in one pixel region becomes any one position of M different positions where a region of the landed liquid droplet at least partially enters in the pixel region. Any one landing target position of the M landing target positions is randomly determined for each liquid droplet discharged from the liquid discharge part. The discharge direction of the liquid droplet discharged from the liquid discharge part is controlled so as to allow the liquid droplet to be landed at the determined landing target position.
