PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a task retrieval device for easily acquiring by retrieval a task similar to a current task or a future task from a database and the like holding information concerning tasks in the past.

SOLUTION: This task retrieval device retrieving a similar task similar to a target task is provided with a positional topology holding means holding positional topology between tasks, and an adjacently related task retrieval means retrieving an adjacently related similar task, which is a task similar to an adjacently related target task adjacently related to the target task, from tasks adjacently related a similar task candidate as a candidate for the similar task.
