PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stop assist device capable of easily and accurately positioning a truck. SOLUTION: The stop assist device 3 is provided with two rollers 5, 6 spaced apart in a longitudinal direction and projected from the truck 2 to one side in a vehicle width direction; two taper pins projected below the two rollers 5, 6 respectively; a guide member having a guide surface 11 opposed to the two rollers 5, 6 and two insertion holes 12; and a stopping member 9. According to the stop assist device 3, the work for making a position in the vehicle width direction of a load-carrying platform 1 and a position in the longitudinal direction of the load-carrying platform 1 coincident can be quickly and certainly performed not relying upon intuition of an operator. Further, in order to adjust the height of the load-carrying platform 1, a labor of the operator for repeating lifting of the load-carrying platform 1 can be eliminated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
