TIME MEASURING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CORRECTING TIME OF TIME MEASURING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time measuring device capable of correcting a time even when low power is required by restricting no use area by correction of time display of the time measuring device and automatically correcting it, and to provide a method of correcting the time of the time measuring device.

SOLUTION: The time measuring device 10 has a receiving part 11 receiving in order in which power consumption necessary for receiving is low by acquiring district information 511 from a signal of a position information satellite 15a or the like and selecting a corresponding electric wave signal 411 and a display time information correction part 34 for correcting display time information based on time correction information 521 generated by a time correction information generation part 33 based on time information 531 of the electric wave signal received by the receiving part 11. The method of correcting the time of the time measuring device is provided.
