<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel cylinder for drum brake which has a seal member profiled in disk, and prevents seal failure from occurring even when hydraulic fluid is filled in a fluid chamber by vacuum filling. <P>SOLUTION: A wheel cylinder for drum brake 1 has a pair of pistons 3, a fluid chamber 8 formed between the pair of pistons 3 and a cylinder body 2, a pair of seal members 4 arranged at fluid chamber 8 side not at the pistons 3, and a coil spring 6 arranged between the pair of seal members 4. The seal members 4 has an engagement portion 4b to which a retainer 5 attached at end of the coil spring 6 is engaged and fixed. Furthermore, in a periphery of the retainer 5, a tilting control portion 5e controlling a tilting of the seal members 4 together with an inner circumference 2a of the cylinder body 2 in such a way that it projects toward the other side seal member 4 not toward this side seal member 4 is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
