<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the locked state of an opening/closing mechanism from being unintentionally released in a vehicular cylinder lock device. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular cylinder lock device is provided with a fixed cylinder body 24; an inner cylinder 25 inserted into and supported by the cylinder body; an ignition switch 20; a steering lock mechanism 19 for making steering operation of a steering wheel unavailable; and an operation force output mechanism 63 for converting turning force of the inner cylinder to operation force for releasing the locked state of the other external opening/closing mechanism and outputting it. An operation member 66 constituting a part of the operation force output mechanism is connected to the opening/closing mechanism through a transmission cable. A connection part of the operation member 66 and the transmission cable 15 is arranged in the cylinder body 24 on the mounting surface 80 side to the vehicle body such that it is clamped between the cylinder body 24 and the vehicle body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
