PRODUCT SPECIFICATION SETTING SUPPORT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a management cost as much as possible by suitably setting sorts of products by using a management server 5 in selling a plurality of the sorts of the products, and to make sales match with market needs by suitably calculating the number of the products to be sold for each sort.

SOLUTION: The number of the products to be sold for each sort is calculated so that the total number of the products to be sold for each sort coincides with the target number of the products to be sold which is stored in a target-number-of-sales database 11 and a condition that a value obtained by dividing the total of the numbers of the products to be sold in all sorts including an optional selected specification out of a plurality of selected specifications by the target number of the products to be sold coincides with the selection rate of the selected specification which is stored in a selection rate database 13 is satisfied in all the selected specifications, and then whether or not a part of the plurality of the sorts is to be disused is judged and the sort whose disuse is judged is disused.
