PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for modifying liquid having viscosity such as a liquid state cosmetic, etc. SOLUTION: This method for modifying the viscosity of the liquid is characterized by taking note to magnetic energy said to be useful for improving the solubility of oils and fats, effecting the magnetic energy of a solid magnet of which magnetic flux density is increased by baking≥1 metal element selected from titanium Ti, silver Ag, copper Cu, germanium Ge and vanadium V with the magnet, on the solid magnet.
