LOCAL REFORM METHOD FOR GOLF CLUB HEAD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for hardening a local part of a golf club head to its core by heat treatment without forming a coating layer on the surface.

SOLUTION: The local reform method for the golf club head consists of: a first step of preparing the golf club head with a metal member; a second step of placing the golf club head in an inert gas atmosphere; a third step of adjusting the relative position between the golf club head and a high energy beam generator for irradiating the golf club head, and determining the irradiation position of the high energy beam generator to the golf club head; and a fourth step of generating the high energy beam by operating the high energy beam generator, locally irradiating a prescribed surface of the metal member of the golf club head, and hardening it.
