PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior wall structure and an exterior wall panel for a building, which enable a heat insulating sheet to be attached with proper workability while securing the heat insulation performance of the heat insulating sheet, irrespectively of a means for attaching the heat insulating sheet. SOLUTION: In this exterior wall structure 1 of the building, since a sealing portion 144 is attached to furring strips 11, the heat insulating sheet 14 can be easily attached by means of a nail 111, without deteriorating a vacuum state between films 142 and 143. Since the nail 111 is driven into the sealing portion 144 where the films 142 and 143 are welded, the heat insulation performance can be secured without problems even if nail holes are made in the films 142 and 143, respectively.
