PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor manufacturing method capable of separating the cathodes of respective capacitor elements at prescribed interval, and preventing nonuniformity in the positions of the cathodes of the capacitor elements. SOLUTION: In a conductive spacer arrangement process, substantially circular conductive spacers 82 are respectively arranged at positions corresponding to corners of a virtual square on the upper surface of the carbon paste layer 12B of the element to be the cathode 12 of the capacitor element 10. In the filler forming process of a lamination process, the conductive spacer 82 of the first element is made to be abutted on or adjacently opposed to the carbon paste layer of the second element from the bottom. In the same way, the conductive spacer of the second element from the bottom is made to be abutted on or adjacently opposed to the carbon paste layer of the third element from the bottom. The conductive spacer of the third element from the bottom is made to be abutted on or adjacently opposed to the carbon paste layer of the most upper layer element. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
