PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lyrics display system in a car-audio device which can display lyrics when music in a CD is reproduced. SOLUTION: When a CD is inserted into a CD/DVD deck, music data is obtained by referring to a CDDB. Further, lyrics data corresponding to a title of the obtained music data and an item of an artist is retrieved. A lyrics file of music data corresponding to the title and artist are read out and the lyrics corresponding to the music is displayed on a liquid crystal display part 2. Since the lyrics for the music in the CD and a HDD is displayed, singing contents of the artist being reproduced can be obtained accurately. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
