PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance earthquake resistance by adopting a base isolation structure in a load support device for a load storage rack in which a pair of right and left load receiving members 3 long in the load carrying-in/out direction are horizontally installed inside both right and left partition wall frames 2 in a load storage section. SOLUTION: In the load support device for the load storage rack, the pair of right and left load receiving members 3 are hung by hanging links 9a, 9b inside the both right and left partition wall frames 2 in the load storage section 1 so as to enable forward and backward oscillation within a certain range in the forward and backward depth direction (X direction) of the load storage section 1, respectively. Stop means 12 for receiving the load receiving members 3 when the load receiving members 3 are oscillated forwardly from the hanging position where they are stabilized due to the gravity are provided.
